I am associate editor of Perspectives on History and co-editor of the Directory of History Departments, Historical Organizations, and Historians. I have an MA in history from the University of Maryland at College Park, where I concentrated on African American history and mid-20th-century United States political history. I did my undergraduate work at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, where I majored in history and minored in political science. I have been at the AHA since December 2001.
