[edit] Collection Summary
Comprehensive collection on Mennonite studies, rather broadly interpreted to include a variety of historical and intellectual contexts for Mennonites. Archival and personal papers holdings for numerous Mennonite organizations, individuals, and families. Large oral history collection. One of two official archives for the Mennonite Church USA denomination. The other is at Goshen, Indiana: Mennonite Church USA Archives Goshen.
One surprising set of archival holdings is material on Native American Hopi, Cheyenne, and Arapaho groups, resulting from Mennonite missionary activities starting in 1880.
