Having retired in June 2009 after 39 years designing and administering gifted and innovative programs, especially in history and historical fieldwork, I have turned my attention to the development of a comprehensive archive of images, documents, artifacts and other memorabilia relating to Independent School District 1, created by an act of the territorial legislature in 1880. The district is the oldest in the state.
